1) Two (2) 11X17 paper copies of the preliminary bridge layout drawings. 2) Two (2) 11x17 paper copies of the 30 %, 60% and 90% plans for review before submitting the final set of plans. 3) Ten (10) copies of the final plans and one (1) Mylar set of plans. 1.11 ADDITIONAL SERVICES /CHANGE IN SERVICES 1.11.1 Since the Engineer's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Engineer for Additional Services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this Agreement. The Engineer will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's authorization before initiating any additional services. The following are specifically considered additional s ervices: 1) The provision of intensive -level survey efforts. If an intensive -level survey is determined necessary, then the Engineer will provide a supplemental scope and fee. 2) Subsurface Utility Exploration (SUE) is not part of this work effort. The Engineer will coordinate the completion of a One Call location of utilities in the Project area for inclusion in the Project survey; however, any additional SUE services deemed necessary will be conduct as Additional Services. 3) Any activities associated with the testing or mitigation phases of Section 106 compliance. 4) Construction Administration is not part of this scope of services. TxDOT is responsible for the construction phase services necessary for this Project. The City has no responsibility regarding the construction of the Project. This Engineer will coordinate with TxDOT and TxDOT will determine at the time of construction the level of effort required of the Engineer. 1. 11.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the Engineer must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Article 13 of this Agreement. The approval of the San Marcos City Council is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which exceeds $50,000.00. ARTICLE 2 THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES The City will: 2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the Engineer's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Engineer with copies of data and information in the City's possession needed by the Engineer at the Engineer's request. HDR — Loop 82 Project Agreement 27
