1) Two (2) 11X17 paper copies of the preliminary bridge layout drawings. <br />2) Two (2) 11x17 paper copies of the 30 %, 60% and 90% plans for review before <br />submitting the final set of plans. <br />3) Ten (10) copies of the final plans and one (1) Mylar set of plans. <br />1.11 ADDITIONAL SERVICES /CHANGE IN SERVICES <br />1.11.1 Since the Engineer's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor <br />deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to the Engineer for Additional <br />Services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this <br />Agreement. The Engineer will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's <br />authorization before initiating any additional services. The following are specifically considered <br />additional s <br />ervices: <br />1) The provision of intensive -level survey efforts. If an intensive -level survey is <br />determined necessary, then the Engineer will provide a supplemental scope and fee. <br />2) Subsurface Utility Exploration (SUE) is not part of this work effort. The Engineer <br />will coordinate the completion of a One Call location of utilities in the Project area <br />for inclusion in the Project survey; however, any additional SUE services deemed <br />necessary will be conduct as Additional Services. <br />3) Any activities associated with the testing or mitigation phases of Section 106 <br />compliance. <br />4) Construction Administration is not part of this scope of services. TxDOT is <br />responsible for the construction phase services necessary for this Project. The City <br />has no responsibility regarding the construction of the Project. This Engineer will <br />coordinate with TxDOT and TxDOT will determine at the time of construction the <br />level of effort required of the Engineer. <br />1. 11.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by the Engineer <br />must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached to this <br />Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in addition to that <br />specified for Basic Services in accordance with Article 13 of this Agreement. The approval of <br />the San Marcos City Council is necessary for all additional services the compensation for which <br />exceeds $50,000.00. <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br />The City will: <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Engineer regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Engineer's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Engineer with copies of <br />data and information in the City's possession needed by the Engineer at the Engineer's request. <br />HDR — Loop 82 Project Agreement <br />27 <br />
