<br />154. <br />Regular Meeting <br /> <br />May 17, 2005 <br /> <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />ABSTAIN: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on <br />first reading, the caption which was read as follows: <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, <br />REVISING FEES FOR BUILDING PERMITS i INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONS i <br />AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. <br /> <br />Mr. Guerrero moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading, and Mr. <br />Taylor seconded the motion. Mr. Taylor stated staff reviewed the <br />commercial inspection charges and think the rates are too high. He stated <br />he supports the proposed Commercial charges of $75.00 for a basic <br />remodeling and $150.00 for a complex remodeling.
