He stated Staff also recommends the Commission <br />discuss this issue to identify the regulation purpose and intention. The <br />Council agreed by consensus to have Planning and Zoning Commission to <br />review and redefine Section 6.2.1.2(a) (1). Mr. Theriot stated the Planning <br />and Zoning Commission reviewed the Watershed Protection Plan, Sections <br />1.6.7.2 and 1.7.1.2., and provided two options. The Council agreed by <br />consensus to the second option, could remove WPP2 submittal requirement on <br />land which does not contain a floodplain or water course as defined by the <br />Code, or located on the EARZ or in a stream or river corridor. Mr. Theriot <br />stated the Planning and Zoning Commission reviewed Section 1.6.6.1(h) (2), <br />Construction Plans, and recommended the removal of the Site Preparation <br />Permit approval prior to construction plan requirement. Mr. Thomaides stated he was contacted by the family of Anita <br />Reyes regarding naming the Park on Broadway after Mrs. Reyes. Mr. O'Leary <br />stated the County owns the land which Broadway Park sets on. Mr. <br />Mihalkanin stated he supports asking the County to consider naming the <br />Broadway Park after Anita Reyes. He also stated the policy for naming <br />something after a person states they must be deceased for at least two <br />years. Mayor Narvaiz stated the two-year requirement is because at the <br />time of a person's death is an emotional time and rushing may cause someone <br />
