<br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.14.1 Following the public input pertaining to Benefit/Cost for the flood protection scenarios, <br />the Engineer will include recommendations for the implementation and phasing of the identified <br />improvements, both structural and non-structural. <br /> <br />1.14.2 Prepare an implementation plan that will identify potential funding sources for the <br />improvements, such as city drainage utility fees, impact fees, public/private partnerships, special <br />utility districts, etc. as appropriate. In preparing the implementation plan, the Engineer will <br />consider the City's current Capital Improvements Plan and the City's Comprehensive Plan to <br />ensure that the recommended flood protection strategies are coordinated and consistent with the <br />broad objectives of the City. <br /> <br />1.14.3 Prepare for and attend Advisory Committee meeting number 12. <br /> <br />1.1S-TASK 14 - EARLY FLOOD WARNING SYSTEM <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.15.1 Explore the potential of developing a more formalized Early Flood Waming System as a <br />possible non-structural solution. <br /> <br />1.15.2 Coordinate with GBRA, NWS and USGS to make a recommendation to the City on the <br />most logical coordinated approach to developing an Early Flood Warning System. <br /> <br />1.15.3 Prepare for and attend Advisory Committee meetings numbers 3, 4,6 and 13. <br /> <br />1.16 - TASK 15 - DUAL PURPOSE FLOOD CONTRAL AND WATER SUPPLY <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.16.1 Explore the potential of developing a dual purpose flood control/water supply reservoir in <br />coordination with the EAA. <br /> <br />1.16.2 Coordinate with the City and the EAA in planning for this possibility. <br /> <br />1.16.3 Attend advisory committee meetings numbers 3, 4, 6 and 13. <br /> <br />1.17-TASK 16 - FINAL DELIVERABLES <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.17.1 Following the review of the implementation and phasing plan, the Engineer will provide <br />a complete draft report for the Advisory Committee's review and comment in accordance with <br />the TWDB guidelines, and present the report and summary of findings at a public meeting. <br />Espey Agreement <br /> <br />7 <br />
