<br />addition, the Engineer will update the City's current master plan map to show the locations and <br />capacities of all recommended water system improvements, including suggested alignments of major <br />mains. The Engineer will prepare opinions of probable construction cost for all major system <br />improvements. <br /> <br />1.11.2 Prepare a draft report (1 0 copies) discussing the results of the study and the recommended <br />system improvements. The Engineer will base this report on the systematic execution of all <br />preceding tasks. The Engineer will submit the preliminary report to the City for review and <br />comment, prior to preparing the final report. The report will include a recommended list of projects, <br />with budgets and phasing for input into a 10-year CIP Program. <br /> <br />1.11.3 Present the results of the study and the information contained in the draft report to the City <br />Council for review prior to finalizing the report. <br /> <br />1.1104 Based upon input received from the City, prepare and deliver to the City twenty (20) copies <br />of a final report. <br /> <br />1.12 TASK 11 - DESIGN CRITERIA <br /> <br />The Engineer will review the City's current information related to design criteria for water systems <br />as related to such issues such as size of mains, fire hydrant spacing, valve spacing and other typical <br />design features of a distribution system. Using the existing information, information from other <br />Cities, and TNRCC criteria, the Engineer will provide the City with a complete design criteria <br />manual in electronic format. <br /> <br />1.13 TASK - PROJECT MANAGEMENT <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.13.1 Perform general administrative duties associated with the Project, including progress <br />monitoring, scheduling, general correspondence, office administration, and invoicing. This activity <br />also includes maintaining communication with the City to execute the work in accordance with the <br />work plan, budget and schedule. <br /> <br />1.13.2 Prepare and submit progress reports to the City with the Project invoices on a monthly basis. <br />These progress reports will briefly summarize progress of work tasks, key decisions which will <br />require input from or discussion with the City, and a list of problems or unresolved issues. The <br />Engineer will maintain an "issues list" identifying the issue, date it was known as an issue, person <br />responsible for solution, and date solution required. <br /> <br />1.13.3 Participate in meetings with the City including an initial meeting, monthly progress <br />meetings over a ten-month period, and up to five (5) follow-up meetings as required. These monthly <br />progress meetings will be combined with Quality Control meetings. Three specific Quality Control <br />meetings are planned for this project, they will be held at the following milestones: <br /> <br />8 <br />
