Component Manager <br />Include a component manager which will allow the City's administrator to create <br />dynamic and user - centric pages. Depending on the settings, content in the page may be <br />automatically displayed and expired without any managerial time from the administrator. <br />For example, the City's administrator may create a component page displaying events of <br />a particular category and/or department. When an event has expired, it will automatically <br />be placed in a past events view. In addition, for some components, there are multiple <br />views to layout content to enhance users' usability experience. This feature gives the City <br />the flexibility to create dynamic content pages in most any area of the City's Website. <br />10. Communitv Spotlight <br />Provide for a community spotlight feature to draw attention to important information. <br />With community spotlight, the City's Website can have a prominent area on the <br />homepage that highlights community events, announcements, and other information that <br />would be especially important to City residents. City staff will be able to link community <br />spotlight notices to web pages with additional details and change the highlighted item to <br />reflect current community events. <br />11. Connected Pates <br />Provide for connected pages which will allow the City to create multiple instances of any <br />web page and place them in different areas of the Website. Changes made to any <br />instance of a connected page are reflected immediately across all other instances, saving <br />City staff precious time and eliminating duplication of effort, while keeping information <br />on the Website consistent and easy to find. <br />12. Content Schedulina <br />Include a content scheduling feature to save the City time and money. This feature will <br />allow the City all standard pages and specific predefined component content to be <br />published ahead of time. In addition, City staff can set the content to expire on a specific <br />day and time so that it can be automatically removed or archived by the . The content <br />scheduling feature is handy for seasonal and time - sensitive content, and allows the City <br />to have updates occur to the site automatically when staff is away from the office. <br />25 <br />Web Redesign and Content Management System <br />
