In addition, the image library will also incorporate several components <br />that make managing images much easier. These components include automatic scaling <br />and sizing of photos to the maximum size recommended for the Website plus automatic <br />alt -tag insertion for images added to pages to ensure future Section 508 compliance. <br />26. Intranet <br />Establish an Intranet for the City to serve as the main source of information for City <br />employees. The Intranet will have its own unique homepage, navigation, and design. <br />The Vendor will base the design upon the approved public website design; however, it <br />may include its own color scheme, collage, and homepage layout. In implementing the <br />City's Intranet, the Vendor will: <br />a) Complete the main website portion of the Project; <br />b) Replicate the main website including components such as calendar, news, etc.; <br />c) Implement the approved Intranet design; <br />d) Migrate or add pages as required (up to 50 pages); and <br />e) Launch the Website behind a firewall so as to make it inaccessible from outside the <br />City's internal network. For users to access the Intranet from outside the network, a <br />VPN may be needed to access the network prior to accessing the Intranet. <br />f) The Intranet will be hosted on the City's server according to the following <br />specifications: <br />1) Web Server <br />The Minimum Hardware Requirements include: <br />Dual Core 3 GHz CPU; <br />GB RAM; <br />Dual NIC* (Recommended but not required for installation); and <br />RAID — 5. <br />2) Software: <br />Windows Server 2008 R2 with latest service pack; <br />IIS 7.5 or later; <br />FTP Server *(Recommended but not required for installation); <br />Google Analytics ( http : / /www.google.com/analytics /), Urchin Web Analytics <br />(urchinstats. ca/) *(Recommended but not required for installation); and <br />Windows Remote Desktop Access (Administrative permissions). <br />3) Services Enabled: <br />30 <br />Web Redesign and Content Management System <br />
