<br />Sec. 94.072. Fees. <br /> <br />(a) An application for a permit required by this division shall be accepted only upon <br />verification of completeness by the director of engineering, and payment of the appropriate <br />fee established by the city council. Fees should be keyed to the cost of issuance of a site <br />development permit. <br /> <br />(b) Any application for a site development permit that is rejected by the eity director of <br />engineeri.!!g may be resubmitted only as an original application and only after the payment <br />of the fee required for an original application, provided that no application may be rejected <br />unless it has been reviewed in its entirety and the applicant has had an opportunity to respond <br />to the eity director of engineeri.!!g's complete review. Any time used to respond to the eity <br />director of engineeri.!!g's review will cause the time limits for review to be extended a like <br />amount of time. <br /> <br />SECTION 4. Division 3 of Article 3, Drainage, Erosion Control and Water Quality, of Chapter 94, <br />Development Standards, of the City Code is amended as follows (added text is indicated by <br />underlining; deleted text is indicated by overstrike): <br /> <br />DIVISION 3. STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />Sec. 94.101. Promulgation of standards, regulations and guidelines. <br /> <br />The director of eity engineeri.!!g is authorized to promulgate standards, regulations and <br />guidelines to implement this article. The standards, regulations and guidelines shall be a <br />public record and available for purchase at cost by the public. <br /> <br />Sec. 94.102. Certification by registered professional engineer. <br /> <br />Plans and specifications called for in this article shall not be accepted, reviewed or approved <br />by the director of eity engineeri.!!g, unless accompanied by certification of a registered <br />professional engineer, practicing in the state, that: <br /> <br />(1) The development plan is complete; aHd <br /> <br />(2) The technical and engineering requirements of this article are met; and <br /> <br />(3) The drainage improvements described in the development plan are sufficient to <br />ensure that the development will not result in any additional identifiable adverse <br />flooding of other property. <br /> <br />Sec. 94.103. Waiver of requirements. <br /> <br />The director of eity engineeri.!!g may waive any of the requirements of this article when, upon <br />the basis of information provided as part of the site development permit application, he finds <br /> <br />C:\TEMP\Drainage Interim Amendments.doc <br /> <br />3 <br />
