<br />certificate and by payment of a license fee. <br /> <br />(b) Information required by the license application form will include the name and address of the <br />owner and an accurate description of the animal to be licensed. <br /> <br />(c) Veterinarians may charge an administrative fee,.m21JQ..S:2-';f~.9SLlh~...'imQHm....seLb.Y_JJ19_s:.jJ.Y <br />eounciL for processing the license paperwork. <br /> <br />Sec. 6.058. Fees; exemptions. <br /> <br />(a) The fee for the license required under this division is established by the city council. Fee- <br />exempt licenses may be issued for the following: <br /> <br />(1) Police or sheriffs department dogs. <br /> <br />(2) Dogs trained to work for the blind or the hearing impaired. <br /> <br />(b) Eligibility for fee-exempt licensing does not relieve the owner of any responsibility under <br />other sections of this division. <br /> <br />Sec. 6.059. Issuance. <br /> <br />(a) Upon compliance with this division, the ehief-animal services manager control officer shall <br />issue a durable tag, imprinted with an identifying number and the year of issuance and designed <br />so that it can be conveniently fastened to the animal's collar. <br /> <br />(b) Licenses are valid for a period of one year from the date of licensing. <br /> <br />(c) The owner of each animal licensed under this division shall keep the license tag securely <br />fastened around the neck of the animal at all times by means of a collar or harness. <br /> <br />Sec. 6.060. Transferability. <br /> <br />No person shall use a license tag for any animal other than the one for which it was issued under <br />this division. If there is a change in ownership of a licensed animal, the new owner shall have <br />the license transferred to the new owner's name. Application for transfer shall be made in person <br />to the ehief-animal services manager control officer. <br /> <br />Sec. 6.061. Revocation. <br /> <br />(a) Upon petition by the ehief-animal services manager control officer, the municipal court judge <br />may revoke an animal's license after a hearing for anyone or more ofthe following reasons: <br /> <br />(1) Impoundment of the animal at the animal shelter more than three times during any l2- <br />8 <br />
