<br />month period. <br /> <br />(2) More than three convictions of a person for violating this division when the convictions <br />relate to the animal. <br /> <br />(3) Upon a determination that the animal is a vicious animal. <br /> <br />(4) Upon a determination that the animal is unsterilized. has been impounded more than <br />twice within one calendar year, and~Y0:s not sterilized within one week of release from the <br />second impoundment in accordance with subsection 6.136(g). <br /> <br />(b) The lmmicipal court will notify the animal's o,^,ner of the date and time of the hearing. <br /> <br />(c) Upon revocation of an animal's license, the animal control officer services manager shall <br />immediately notifY the owner of the action in writing. Written notification is deemed made when <br />a certified letter, return receipt requested, addressed to the last known mailing address of the <br />animal's owner, is deposited in the U.S. mail or the notification is personally delivered to the <br />owner. <br /> <br />(d) Upon the expiration of ten days after notification is delivered as provided in subsection (b) <br />of this section, it is unlawful for any person to keep, maintain or harbor within the city limits any <br />animal whose license is revoked. <br /> <br />Secs. 6.062--6.080. Reserved. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3. CARE AND CONTROL <br /> <br />DIVISION 1. GENERALLY <br /> <br />Sec. 6.081. Restraint; public nuisance animals. <br /> <br />(a) Every owner or handler of a dog or miniature swine shall keep such animal under restraint <br />at all times. <br /> <br />(b) Owners and handlers must ItJ,~~D10:i.J:.Lrestraint 9L;:m animal hUlhumane rJ}0:m19.Lill.9:S;~~>'T~1~ms:~ <br />with the following: <br /> <br />(1) The collar does not restrict the animal's breathing or cut into its skin. <br /> <br />(2) If the animal is restrained by a leash. rope, cord. or wire, it is fastened so that the animal <br />does not become entangled or iniured. <br /> <br />(3) Fences are free of protruding wire. nails, screws or9.theLQbj~cts which could iniure the <br />animal. <br /> <br />9 <br />
