<br />a. Kick-off meeting and initial plan review meeting. <br />b. (Meeting with TCEQ to review testing protocol will be a Special Service.) <br />c. (Site visit (2 days) for plant testing will be a Special Service) <br />d. Meeting with City to review draft report. <br />e. Meeting with TCEQ to review up rating request. <br />f. Presentation of results to the San Marcos City Council. <br /> <br />The re-rating evaluation will be based on information from the record "As Built" construction <br />drawings of the plant and plant operating data. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - ENGINEERING DESIGN PHASE SERVICES <br /> <br />It is agreed by both parties to this Agreement that the extent of the improvements <br />needed/authorized by the City will not be determined until Task 1 is completed. However, the City <br />is aware of desired improvements to the High Service Pump Station. The design phase services for <br />the High Service Pump Station improvements will be included in the Basic Services. The design <br />of additional improvements identified as a result of Task 1 will be included as Additional Services. <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Prepare detailed plans, specifications, contract documents, designs and layouts of <br />improvements to be constructed as one construction project. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Provide the City with advice with respect to the making of all subsurface investigations, <br />including borings, test pits, soil resistivity surveys, and other subsurface explorations; however, the <br />making of such investigations and the interpretations of data and reports by special consultants are <br />not a part of the services to be rendered by the Engineer, and the cost therefore shall be paid by the <br />City. <br /> <br />1.3.3 The Engineer shall monitor and review the work of testing laboratories and inspection <br />bureaus required for the testing or inspection of materials, witnessed tests, factory testing, etc., for <br />the Project, but the cost of such laboratory tests shall be paid by the City. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Furnish the City, when requested, the engineering data necessary for applications for routine <br />permits required by local, state and federal authorities including general Corps of Engineers 404 <br />permits. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Submit plans, specifications, and contract documents to the applicable federal and state <br />agency(s) for approval, where required. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Furnish such information necessary to utility companies whose facilities may be affected or <br />services may be required for the Project. <br />1.3.7 Prepare an opinion of probable construction cost, and bidder's proposal forms (project <br />quantities) of the improvements to be constructed.
