<br />Section VI - Part 0 <br /> <br />Instructions for Completing the Redeployment Tracking Plan <br /> <br />In order to account for the time sa~ings achieved through the use of equipment/technology. the COPS Office requires all <br />grantees to create and implement a tracking plan. Please attach no more than one page typed detailing your proposed track- <br />ing plan using the guidelines listed below. <br /> <br />A tentative tracking plan that describes the method for measuring the time savings must be submitted with the application <br />which will include the following elements: <br /> <br />. A statement describing time devoted to the activity prior to MORE 2001. and how time will be saved by the purchase <br />of equipment/technology as a result of the grant. <br /> <br />. An explanation of the method which \vill be used to measure the time savings. <br /> <br />. How projected time savings will enhance community policing activities. <br /> <br />Examples of redeployment plans and methods may be found at www.usdojgovlcopsl, in Appendir 1. or <br />by contacting your Crant Program Specialist <br /> <br />54 <br /> <br />Section VT.
