33 1 CONTRACT TO THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS - QT- 2901/3 <br />6. JustWare Onsite Administrator Training <br />6.1 Units <br />New Dawn will provide no more than 32 hour(s) of instructional training to be provided by New Dawn <br />trainers. Training is conducted in blocks of up to eight (8) hours per day as arranged by Customer and New <br />Dawn. <br />6.2 Description <br />The objective of this task is to instruct Customer personnel on configuration requirements for functional <br />operation of the JustWare System. New Dawn will conduct a training course for designated Customer <br />personnel to acquire the knowledge necessary for entering data in the JustWare System code tables (personnel <br />records, agency details, system codes, workflow, document templates, application access controls etc.) and to <br />configure JustWare parameters. <br />6.3 New Dawn Responsibilities <br />a) Instruct designated Customer personnel, including Software administrator(s) and other City staff, on <br />completing the configuration of the Software. <br />b) Instruct training participants on the use of the Software from the end -user perspective. <br />c) Instruct training participants on the configuration options of the Software. <br />d) Provide focused training to key personnel representing the functional units identified with the Customer's <br />agency. <br />e) Upon notification by the Customer that all configurations have been completed, the assigned New Dawn <br />trainer or Project Manager will spot -check select parameters and databases for accuracy and <br />completeness. <br />6.4 Customer Responsibilities <br />a) Acknowledge that any scheduling changes from a scheduled onsite training trip that is canceled by <br />Customer may result in Travel fees and Customer acknowledges that they will pay these fees. If training <br />has been scheduled, cancellation of training must occur two (2) business days in advance of that training. <br />If cancellation of the training occurs less than 48 hours prior to the training, the allocated training time <br />will be billed to the Customer. <br />b) Identify key personnel representing the various functional units who will be using the Software. <br />c) Assign appropriate personnel, to include the Software administrator and key personnel from each <br />functional unit, to attend the Software Administrator training course. <br />d) Provide a facility with one computer for each attendee and one additional computer for the New Dawn <br />trainer. These computers must have network connectivity to the JustWare Server, meet the minimum <br />requirements for JustWare and have remote connectivity established to the JustWare hosted database <br />prior to the beginning of Training. This facility must be removed from the day -to -day operations of the <br />Customer and remain available for the duration of Training. <br />6.5 Completion Criteria <br />This task is considered complete when New Dawn has provided the described training to Customer personnel <br />and customer has acknowledged completion. <br />�� VLNewDawn <br />
