RFP 211 -037 <br />b) Installation Requirements: All services terminating at the City's property will <br />be clearly labeled by the successful Proponent at the D -MARC. The <br />successful Proponent will provide the City with an inventory (and Visio <br />diagram) of each physical location which details each installed circuit and its <br />use. The physical address of each circuit will be required on all billing and <br />customer service records. <br />1. Cable: <br />a. Exterior /Interior Cable: The successful Proponent will complete all <br />exterior and interior cabling requirements. All installation and material <br />costs will be included on the Cost Proposal Form (See Attachment <br />„A„ <br />b. Tie Cable: The successful Proponent will complete any required tie <br />cabling. All installation and material costs will be included on the Cost <br />Proposal Form (See Attachment "A "). <br />2. Equipment: The successful Proponent will install and maintain all <br />equipment needed for local services. The Proponent will include in its <br />proposal a description of its installation requirements, including power, <br />space, etc. for all equipment. All equipment will remain the property of the <br />successful Proponent and will be maintained for the duration of the <br />contract. All installation costs for equipment will be included on the Cost <br />Proposal Form (See Attachment "A "). <br />3. Lightning Protection: The successful Proponent will provide all lightning <br />protection required for the Project. All equipment will remain the property <br />of the successful Proponent and will be maintained for the duration of the <br />contract. All installation and material costs will be included on the Cost <br />Proposal Form (See Attachment "A "). <br />2. Lonq Distance Services: The successful Proponent will install long distance <br />services for both dedicated and switched access. The City will retain its current <br />800 Numbers. The City does not require authorization codes for outgoing long <br />distance. <br />a) Circuit Requirements: If a proponent provides both local and long distance <br />services, the City will utilize the two existing T1 PRI spans for long distance. <br />The long distance services are located at the Municipal Building, 630 E <br />Hopkins Street, terminating in the Nortel CS1000E. All incoming 800 <br />numbers are routed to this location. Current toll free numbers are as follows: <br />800 - 324 -4098 rings to station 512 - 393 -8040 <br />888 - 286 -4486 rings to station 512 - 393 -8043 <br />10 <br />
