RFP 211 -037 <br />1. Equipment: The successful Proponent will install and maintain all <br />equipment needed for Point -to -Point T1 services. The successful <br />Proponent will include in its proposal a description of its installation <br />requirements; including power, space, etc. for all equipment. All <br />equipment will remain the property of the successful Proponent and will be <br />maintained by the successful Proponent for the duration of the contract. <br />All installation costs for equipment will be included on the Cost Proposal <br />Form (See Attachment "A "). <br />2. Cable: <br />a. Exterior /Interior Cable: The successful Proponent will complete all <br />exterior and interior cabling. All installation and material costs will be <br />included on the Cost Proposal Form (See Attachment "A "). <br />b. Tie Cable: The successful Proponent will complete all required tie <br />cabling. All installation and material costs will be included on the Cost <br />Proposal Form (See Attachment "A "). <br />3. Lightning Protection: The successful Proponent will provide all lightning <br />protection required for this Project. All equipment will remain the property <br />of the successful Proponent and will be maintained by the successful <br />Proponent for the duration of the contract. All installation and material <br />costs will be included on Cost Proposal Form (See Attachment "A "). <br />Q. INSPECTIONS AND CLEANUP: The successful Proponent will, at its own <br />expense, take every precaution against damage to property, buildings, apparatus, <br />materials, supplies, and equipment in an orderly fashion at the work site so as not to <br />interfere with work progress of any other contractors; and will frequently remove all <br />refuse, scrap and debris resulting from installation, activation or maintenance services, <br />and leave the premises in a neat and orderly condition. The site condition will be <br />subject to approval by the City prior to final payment. If, after 24 hours' notice by the <br />City, the successful Proponent has not diligently proceeded with cleanup or repair, then <br />the City will proceed with cleanup and /or repair at the successful Proponent's expense. <br />The successful Proponent will not cause or permit any hazardous substance to be <br />placed on or disposed of at any City premise. Hazardous substances includes all <br />pollutants, contaminants, chemicals, waste, or any other carcinogenic, ignitable, <br />corrosive, reactive, toxic or otherwise hazardous substance or waste subject to <br />regulation, control or remediation under applicable environmental laws. <br />The successful Proponent will obtain permission from the City before performing any <br />work that may require cutting into or through or permanent damage to any part of a City <br />building. The successful Proponent will repair all damages to the building, including <br />ceiling tiles, as a result of any activity on the part of successful Proponent's technicians <br />or subcontractors. The City will periodically inspect the successful Proponent's work to <br />insure that the progress and quality of work completed is in accordance with the <br />12 <br />
