<br />Scope of Work <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITIES OF CONSULTANT <br /> <br />General Requirements: <br /> <br />1. Obtain Temporary Right of Entry Agreements from property owners for the purpose of <br />surveying, appraisal, environmental assessment, and geotechnical analysis/testing. <br /> <br />2. Acquire various easements or tracts of land from property owners for the project. <br /> <br />Owner Contact: <br /> <br />1. Contact all property ovmers <br /> <br />2. Explain need for Right of Entry <br /> <br />3. Secure all necessary signatures needed for Right of Entry <br /> <br />Deliverables: <br /> <br />l. Two (2) original executed Right of Entry for each property. <br /> <br />2. Any special requirements by property owner concerning entry to the property. <br /> <br />3. Lessor and/or tenant contact information and the process in which they are to be notified. <br /> <br />4. Executed deeds, releases, subordinations and easements as required for the Project. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITIES OF CITY <br /> <br />l. Provide location of properties where Right of Entries are needed. <br /> <br />2. Legal review and approval of changes or special conditions added to the Right of Entry <br />format requested by property owners. <br /> <br />3. For the purpose of administration of this Project and for resolving technical matters, the <br />City of San Marcos' Director, Environment & Engineering Department, or her designee, <br />is designated as the Contract Manager and will review the Consultant's handling of the <br />negotiations and acquisitions of various easements or tracts ofland on behalf of the City. <br />The Contract Manager will coordinate all assignments and issue Notices to Proceed for <br />the Project. <br /> <br />BASIC SERVICES - The Consultant shall: <br /> <br />l. Furnish consulting, management, coordination and professional services for the <br />acquisition of full ownership and/or easement rights as identified for each parcel or tract <br />of land required for the completion of the Project. <br /> <br />2. Adhere to the requirements as set out by all written assignments for Project acquisitions. <br />2 <br />
