The Consultant will <br />develop and deliver to the City in hard-copy, Microsoft Word and Adobe.pdf formats a <br />technical memorandum addressing various criteria and recommendations for inclusion in <br />the TMP. <br /> <br />1.9 TASK 8 - CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECT (CIP) RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.9.1 Capital Improvement Project Identification. Review City identified CIP Projects with <br />respect to the City's existing 5 year program in addition to projects and mitigation options <br />identified through preliminary TMP development. The Consultant will categorize potential <br />projects and mitigation options into short-range and long-range project categories. <br />Identified short-range projects will be further developed by the Consultant using aggregate <br />cost opinions in the Cost Opinion Work Category. Short-range projects identified will be <br />ranked by the Consultant by aggregate cost opinions and relative benefit to the traveling <br />local and regional public. The Consultant will develop and deliver to the City in hard-copy, <br />Microsoft Word and Adobe.pdf formats a technical memorandum summarizing the short <br />and long-range alternative category listings. <br /> <br />1.1 0 TASK 9 - CIP COST OPINIONS <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.10.1 Opinions of Probable Cost for Identified CIP Projects. Prepare aggregate <br />construction opinions of probable cost for all projects identified in the short-range <br />alternative listing with respect to the CIP Project Recommendations Work Category. These <br />opinions of probable cost will be limited to aggregate construction items only and will <br />include right-of-way approximations based on typical sections and water quality <br />components (where necessary) based on current Best Management Practices (BMP's). <br />These opinions of probable cost will not include land value determinations or other costs <br />associated with the environmental mitigation and review process. The Consultant will <br />develop and deliver to the City in hardcopy, Microsoft Excel and Adobe.pdf formats an <br />opinion of probable cost. <br /> <br />1.11 TASK 10 - FUNDING AND FINANCIAL STRATEGY DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.11.1 CIP Funding / Financial Strategy Development. Provide an overview analysis and <br />strategy template for CIP funding financial strategy alternatives. The Consultant will <br />analyze the relationship of various funding sources for the development of a long-term <br />infrastructure strategy.
