<br />services involved under this Agreement. <br /> <br />1.1.4 No work under this Agreement will be subcontracted by the Consultant without prior <br />written approval from the City. Any work or services subcontracted under this Agreement <br />shall be specified by separate written Agreement and shall be subject to each provision of <br />this Agreement. <br /> <br />1.1.5 Any provisions in this Agreement pertaining to the City's review, approval and/or <br />acceptance of written materials prepared by the Consultant and/or its subconsultants, <br />contractors, and subcontractors in connection with this Agreement will not diminish the <br />Consultant's responsibility for the materials. <br /> <br />1.1.6 Consultant will perform all of its services in coordination with the City. The <br />Consultant will advise the City of data and information the Consultant needs to perform its <br />services, and the Consultant will meet with City representatives at mutually convenient <br />times to assemble this data and information. <br /> <br />1.2 TASK 1 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Provide a preliminary evaluation of the information furnished by the City under this <br />Agreement, including the City's program and schedule requirements and budget for the <br />cost of the Project, each in terms of the other. The Consultant shall review such <br />information to ascertain that it is consistent with the requirements of the Project, and will <br />notify the City of any other information or consultant services that may be reasonably <br />needed for the Project. <br /> <br />1.2.2 Provide a preliminary evaluation of the City's site for the Project based on the <br />information provided by the City of site conditions, and the City's program, financial and <br />time requirements and the scope of the Project. <br /> <br />1.2.3 Review the City's proposed method of contracting for construction services and <br />notify the city of anticipated impacts that such method may have on the City's program, <br />financial and time requirements, and the scope of the Project. <br /> <br />1.2.4 Manage its services and administer the Project. The Consultant will consult with the <br />City, research applicable design criteria, attend Project meetings, and communicate with <br />members of the Project team. The Consultant will coordinate its services with those <br />provided by the Consultant's subconsultants, and with those services provided by the City <br />and the City's consultants. <br /> <br />1.2.5 Make up to two presentations to explain the design of the Project to representatives <br />of the City, or to others on the City's behalf, and attend meetings periodically with the City <br />to review the status of the Project. <br /> <br />voelzel agrmnt revised.wpd <br /> <br />2 <br />
