Engmeer's scope wIll be based upon the scope of work m the constructIOn contract and wIll mclude a maXImum of two submIsSIOns by the Contractor for each shop drawmg, sample or submISSIOn. Should there be addItIonal reVIews reqUIred of the Engmeer and deSIgn team, the reVIews WIll be treated as addItIonal servIces. 1 15 19 ReVIew the Contractor's constructIOn schedule and venfy that It IS conSIstent WIth the reqUIrements of the constructIOn contract. The Engmeer WIll adVIse the Contractor of any areas where the schedule IS not m complIance With the constructIOn contract, and WIll proVIde comments to the CIty to aSSIst It m approvmg, acceptmg or takmg other actIOn on the Contractor's schedule, m accordance WIth the constructIOn contract. The Engmeer's reVIew and comments Will not be consIdered as a guarantee or confirmatIOn that the Contractor WIll complete the work m accordance WIth the constructIOn contract. The Engmeer WIll reVIew the Contractor's penodIc schedule updates or other schedule submISSIons. The Engmeer WIll adVIse the Contractor If the updates or other submISSIOns are not m accordance WIth the constructIon contract. The Engmeer WIll provIde comments to the CIty regardmg the updates or other submISSIOns, as well as monthly reports to the CIty as to the status of the constructIOn schedule, date of completIOn, contract pnce, retamage, pendmg changes to the contract pnce or completIOn date, and other Issues matenal to the cost and tIme for completIOn of the constructIOn. 1 15.20 Prepare mmor changes m the plans and specIficatIOns as dIrected by the CIty; and prepare necessary change orders m tnplIcate ongmals for approval by the CIty and executIOn m accordance With the constructIOn contract documents The Engmeer wIll review mformatIon submItted by the Contractor regardmg the effect of proposed or Issued change orders upon the constructIOn schedule, duratIOn and completIOn date and wIll obtam other mformatIOn as IS necessary to evaluate the baSIS for the Contractor's proposal. The Engmeer wIll aSSIst the CIty WIth any negotIatIOns of change orders, and will adVIse the CIty as to the potentIal Impact of proposed or Issued change orders. The Engmeer wIll aSSIst the CIty m dISCUSSIOns WIth the Contractor concernmg the potentIal Impact of proposed or Issued change orders. The Engmeer WIll not Issue change orders not preVIOusly approved m wntmg by CIty, and no course of conduct on the part of the Engmeer or the CIty WIll amend, WaIve or alter thiS proVISIOn. The Engmeer WIll prOVIde penodIc reports to the CIty about the status of change orders. These reports wIll mclude Issued change orders, pendmg change orders, and change order amounts 1 15.21 Conduct profeSSIOnal mspectIOns to determme the dates of substantIal completIOn and final completIOn for the ProJect, to evaluate the work for acceptable conformance WIth the constructIOn contract documents and m lIght of any subsequent tests performed as described m SubsectIOn 1 15 16 to venfy that any mmor deVIatIOns from the constructIOn contract documents as described m SubsectIOn 1 15 16 have been corrected and that the reasons for any speCific qualIficatIOns m any and all prevIOUS certIficates for payment as described m SubsectIOn 1 15 16 hereof are eIther no longer valId or the condItIon(s) and/or problem(s) have been corrected, WIll receIve and reVIew wntten warrantIes and related documents reqUIred by the constructIOn contract documents and assembled by the Contractor; WIll Issue final certIficates for payment or take other 7 CH2M Hill WWTP Amdmt 1 1-18-05 (4)
