Tandem deployment Reference: ACSEC policy Source: Policy: 9 1.16 Subject: October 28, 1996 The goal of the ACSEC is to protect the interests of the Council of Governments and 9-1-1 services. It was stated that it is an ACSEC goal that the process of defining and working-through tandem deployment ensures that 9-1-1 service across the State remains at least at the current levels of service, if not at higher levels. Any future tandem changes can not degrade existing levels in any way. Plan amendments Reference: ACSEC policy Source: Policy: September 4, 1996 Commission meeting follow-up memo Notification amendments may be made in situations where a COG shifts funds within the strategic plan and notifies the appropriate systems analyst, not later than 15 days of making changes. This applies to the administrative budget and the 9-;-1-1 systems budget. Please remember that funds may not be shifted between the administrative budget and Levels I, II & III. Annual review amendments will consist of any changes to the strategic plan budgets and narratives including additions, deletions, or shifts of component costs. These amendments will be considered for approval at the ACSEC annual review. Emergency amendments are those which are necessary to prevent the degradation of existing 9-1-1 service in a region. All plan amendments that are not based upon prevention of system degradation will be considered regular plan amendments, which would then be reviewed on a yearly basis.
