<br />a. When end-to-end 9-1-1 service is being obtained from a local <br />exchange carrier, the 9-1-1 agency may utilize existing tariffs <br />approved by the Texas Public Utility Commission for the <br />provisioning of 9-1-1 service. This service does include <br />equipment, network, and database services. <br /> <br />b. If a 9-1-1 agency selects to provision 9-1-1 service outside the <br />current regulated environment, ACSEC has an established <br />practice, in conjunction with state law, that appropriate <br />procurement procedures must be utilized.
