<br />ARTICLE 2 <br />AUDITOR'S SERVICES <br /> <br />2.1 BASIC SERVICES <br /> <br />Auditor will: <br /> <br />2.1.1 Prepare for each fiscal year of this Agreement print ready copy of the required <br />comprehensive annual financial report along with exhibits to the City for its review and <br />approval in addition to the supporting spread sheets and audit work papers accumulating <br />the information from the various individual funds based upon trial balance and subsidiary <br />information. Report covers will be provided by the City. Page reference, font style and <br />report layouts will be directed by the City. The Auditor will prepare the financial report in <br />such a manner that will enable the City to receive a Certificate of Achievement for <br />Excellence in Financial Report from GFOA. The City will utilize one report to fulfill both the <br />annual audit requirement for Federal financial assistance as specified by the Single Audit <br />Act Amendments of 1996. <br /> <br />2.1.2 Prepare a separate audit of the Seized Asset Funds. <br /> <br />2.1.3 If requested by the City, provide guidance for implementation of Statement 34. <br /> <br />2.1.4 Submit a draft of the report to the City no later than December 31 st of each year with <br />a final report submitted no later than the 2nd week in January of each year. The Auditor <br />will meet with the City's representatives to review a draft of the report prior to submission <br />of the final report at a mutually convenient time. <br /> <br />2.2 ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />2.2.1 Since Auditor's compensation is a fixed fee for Basic Services, including minor <br />deviations from those described in this Agreement, compensation to Auditor for additional <br />services will only be for substantial deviations from the scope of services described in this <br />Agreement. Auditor will submit a written estimate of fees to the City and obtain the City's <br />authorization before initiating any additional services. <br /> <br />2.2.2 Each material change (deletion or addition) in the services to be provided by Auditor <br />must be authorized by the City on the Authorization of Change in Services form attached <br />to this Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be in <br />addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section, 4.2 of this <br />Agreement. The approval of the City's governing body is necessary for all additional <br />services the compensation for which exceeds $15,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />2 <br />
