<br />attached to this Agreement as Attachment A. Compensation for additional services will be <br />in addition to that specified for Basic Services in accordance with Section 5.2 of this <br />Agreement. The approval of the City's governing body is necessary for all additional <br />services the compensation for which exceeds $15,000. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 2 <br />THE CITY'S RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> <br />The City will: <br /> <br />2.1 Provide full information to the Architect regarding the City's requirements for the <br />Architect's services under this Agreement. The City will furnish the Architect with copies <br />of official City design standards and construction standards, and other data and information <br />in the City's possession needed by the Architect at the Architect's request. <br /> <br />2.2 Designate Ken Claybourn as the City's Project Manager and authorized <br />representative to act on the City's behalf with respect to this Agreement. The City will <br />examine the documents and information submitted by the Architect and promptly render <br />responses to the Architect on issues requiring a decision by the City. <br /> <br />2.3 Provide access to and make all necessary provisions for the Architect to enter public <br />and private property as required for the Architect to perform its services under this <br />Agreement. <br /> <br />2.4 Bear all costs incident to this Article. <br /> <br />ARTICLE 3 <br />CONSTRUCTION COST <br /> <br />3.1 DEFINITION <br /> <br />3.1.1 The construction cost will be the total cost or estimated cost to the City of all <br />elements of the Project designed or specified by the Architect. <br /> <br />3.1.2 The construction cost will include at current market rates, including a reasonable <br />allowance for overhead and profit, the cost of any equipment which has been designed, <br />specified, selected or specially provided for by the Architect, except that used materials <br />and equipment will be included as if purchased new for the Project. <br /> <br />3.1.3 Construction cost does not include the compensation of the Architect and the <br />Architect's consultants, or other costs which are the responsibility of the City as provided <br />in Article 2. <br /> <br />3.2 RESPONSIBILITY FOR CONSTRUCTION COST <br /> <br />9 <br />
