Hopkins, thanked Staff for their hard work, and thinks that the process <br />was done well. He's not exactly thrilled, but not totally opposed either. The applicant has <br />worked with the neighbors well. <br />Frank Gomillion, Lockhart, aided the applicant in the process and feels that they came a long <br />way in this process. He asked Council for positive consideration. <br />Robert Glaubinger, 531 W. Hopkins, owner and applicant. Mr. Glaubinger stated that he is <br />pushing this request before overlay is put into place due to permits and licenses he has already <br />invested in. <br />Diana Baker, 727 Belvin, asked that the Council not approve the - rezoning request, but -is im favor <br />or proposed professional office space. <br />Shawn Welch, 529 Harvey, is ok with it being used for what it is, but doesn't like the broad <br />nature of "mixed use." <br />Bridgett Phillips, 529 Harvey, stated that she has not received a letter or email regarding talk or <br />discussion, and is not in favor of the proposal. <br />There being no further comments, the Public Hearing was closed at 8:18 p.m. <br />MOTION: Upon a motion made by Council Member Scott and a second by Council Member <br />Prather the City Council voted (6) for and (0) opposed, to approve Ordinance 2011 -65, as <br />previously captioned. The motion carried unanimously. <br />23. Receive a Staff Presentation and hold a Public Hearing to receive comments for or <br />against Ordinance 2011 -66 amending the Official Zoning May of the City by rezoning a <br />1.966 acre, more or less, tract of land out of the J.M.
