As of 2007, data from the Census Bureau shows that employment is already clustered in
the downtown. Although the largest employer, 'Texas State University, will remain where it is and
continue to increase employment, the Hays County Courthouse will be moving to Stagecoach Road
along the current stretch of Wonder World. This move together with anticipated new medical offices
near the hospital on the same corridor could potentially shift the center of employment away from
downtown. Unlike the rest of the country, Hays County has not seen a dramatic drop in employment
uiuiiaomia'gYlll,INb 11 l l l h 11 llllili yituiu a uu
DISVOVER IIOW AT WWW,('()UINC +$41N,%lAitt'OS,(*OM
