<br />1.2.20 Obtain other information as required. <br /> <br />1.3 PHASE 2 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Assimilate all data, conclusions from conceptual design, topographic surveys, soil <br />reports, etc. and prepare detailed preliminary design assignment. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Prepare detailed calculations of existing and proposed drainage improvements. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Prepare outline specifications. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Prepare preliminary cost estimate for City review and approval. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Prepare 60% complete construction plans of proposed plan sheets in accordance <br />with approved conceptual plan showing plan of prepared improvements including <br />sidewalks, street, drainage system, intersection design, temporary traffic control, <br />permanent traffic control, design geometry for all intersecting streets, water and <br />wastewater relocation (if known) ,anticipated right of way requirement, street and drainage <br />profile. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Identify particular design problems and recommend solutions. <br /> <br />1.3.7 Submit 60% complete design to City and meet with City for review and approval. <br /> <br />1.3.8 Conduct a neighborhood meeting. <br /> <br />1.4 PHASE 3 - FINAL DESIGN <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Finalyze design calculations and considerations for: <br />(a) paving <br />(b) drainage (showing existing drainage basins and patterns) <br />(c) water line relocation <br />(d) wastewater relocation <br />(e) lighting <br /> <br />1.4.2 Incorporate boundary surveys into plan profile sheets. <br /> <br />1.4.3 Prepare general notes and final cost estimate for City review and approval. <br /> <br />1.4.4 Prepare final construction contract documents using forms supplied by the City <br />based on the approved design development documents and any further adjustments <br /> <br />4 <br />
