Isolation <br />dampers will have maximum leakage rate of 3 cubic feet per minute per square foot <br />of damper area at minimum pressure rating. AMCA leakage tests will be furnished <br />as part of the submittal. <br /> <br />D. Dampers will be Swartwout "Model 912" or equal. <br /> <br />2.03 OPERATORS <br /> <br />Damper actuators will be furnished and installed as indicated in the schedules. All <br />required linkages and accessories required for a complete installation will be furnished. <br /> <br />A. Hand Operators: Each hand operator will have a locking quadrant suitable for <br />positioning the blade at any intermediate position. <br /> <br />B. Position indicator plates will be marked 0 to 100% in 20% increments. Pointers will <br />be readable to 5% minimum. <br /> <br />2.04 <br /> <br />SPARE PARTS <br /> <br />The following spare parts will be furnished for each size and type of damper: <br /> <br />Item <br /> <br />Quantitv <br /> <br />Flat Flange Gaskets <br />Shaft Seals <br />Blade Seal <br />Position Indicator Plate <br /> <br />2 each <br />2 each <br />2 each <br />One per damper installed. <br /> <br />Spare parts will be suitably packaged with labels indicating the contents of each package <br />and equipment number designated. Spare parts will be delivered to the CITY as directed. <br /> <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br /> <br />3.01 INSTALLATION <br /> <br />The dampers will be positioned to fit in the connecting piping. Unless otherwise necessary <br />for proper operation of the damper, the axles will be installed in the horizontal position. <br />The inside of the dampers will be smooth, clean, and free from blisters and dirt when <br />installed. Dampers in isolation service will be installed with the shaft side of the damper on <br />the pressure side (toward the equipment isolated). <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />END OF SECTION <br /> <br />15910-3 <br />
