<br />RFP 24-057 <br /> <br />587 -0702 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />responsible for providing a City-approved backflow prevention device. The <br />CITY will provide a drain connection for the odor control system. The <br />PROPONENT will be responsible for installing and starting up all equipment <br />included in his proposal and for connecting his system to all required utilities. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />At the remote lift station sites, the CITY will provide the electrical connection, <br />water supply, and concrete pad required for the installation of the odor control <br />equipment. The PROPONENT will be responsible for installing all foul air <br />ductwork (including making the connection to the wet well structure), foul air <br />blowers, 'and odor control system. <br /> <br />D. To ensure system compatibility, a single PROPONENT is responsible for the <br />successful operation of each item of equipment and for the integrated system. The <br />responsibility will include the approval of installation, system optimization, and <br />warranties for the components and performance of the odor control system. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />E. The CITY intends to provide the concrete pads and connections required for the <br />PROPONENT to install its equipment. As the needs of the PROPONENT are not <br />known until after the selection of the successful PROPONENT, the CITY will <br />require approximately six (6) months from the selection of the successful <br />PROPONENT to design and award a construction contract to provide the facilities <br />required. The PROPONENT will plan accordingly in supplying and installing its <br />equipment. Any warranty period shall not begin until the odor control unit is <br />installed, operating, and accepted by the CITY. <br /> <br />1.02 REFERENCES <br /> <br />The following Technical Specifications should be consulted by the PROPONENT to the <br />extent that the PROPONENT's system includes or requires any of the following types of <br />equipment, <br /> <br />Section 11330 Foul Air Blowers <br /> <br />Section 15892 Fiberglass Ductwork <br /> <br />Section 15910 Ductwork Dampers <br /> <br />Section 15950 HVAC Testing, Adjusting and Balancing <br /> <br />Section 16010 Electrical General Provisions <br /> <br />The following testing procedures will be used to verify performance of the equipment. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />ASTM E679-91 Determination of Odor and Taste Threshold by a Forced-Choice <br />Ascending Concentration Series Method of Limits <br /> <br />11065-2 <br />
