<br />RFP 24-057 <br /> <br />587 -0702 <br /> <br />EN 13729 <br /> <br />Air Quality - Determination of Odor Connection by Dynamic Olfactometry <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.03 SUBMITTALS <br /> <br />A. The following submittals are required. <br /> <br />1. Proposals: The proposals will be evaluated based on the criteria shown in <br />Section 8A of the Request for Proposals. In addition to the requirements of <br />Section 6 of this Request for Proposals, the PROPONENT will include the <br />following information at a minimum: <br /> <br />a. Acknowledgement of addenda <br />b. Completed table listing exceptions to the specification <br />c. Scope of supply, including table provided in these specifications <br />d. Cost for providing, installing, starting-up and testing the odor control <br />system in accordance with these specifications. <br />e. Information necessary to calculate life cycle costs, including chemical <br />costs, nutrient costs, electrical costs, media replacement, coating <br />replacement, operation and maintenance costs. The life cycle will be <br />20 years, and the interest rate will be 6 percent. The electrical cost will <br />be $O.07/kWH. I <br />f. Acknowledgement and acceptance of equipment warranty, <br />performance warranty, and media warranty requirements of Section <br />1.07.. <br />g. Drawings indicating the layout, size, and all proposed components of <br />the odor control system, including dimensions, clearances, materials of <br />construction, material thicknesses, coating, linings, and flow direction. <br />h. PROPONENT will include a list of similar installations with reference <br />and contact information for operating systems. PROPONENT will <br />have a minimum of five (5) successful installations of similar size for <br />acceptance and will have at least five similar systems in continuous <br />operation in similar applications for three years. Submittals received <br />without current names and phone numbers for reference contacts <br />may be deemed non-responsive. <br />i. Anticipated media life at design conditions and current replacement <br />cost (material supply only) of media. <br />j. Nutrients required for startup and operation, including dosage rates. <br />k. Empty bed residence time. <br />I. Headloss (inches of water column) through the biofilter media, <br />distribution plenum, and complete system. Include fan sizing <br />calculations. <br />m. All required utility connection points and supply requirements including <br />power and plant water. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />Shop drawings specific to the project and applicable product data will be <br />bound neatly in a single package.
