A proposal will be submitted for <br />treating three different airflows as indicated in the table. Removal requirements: <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Remove 99% of inlet hydrogen sulfide based on continuous datalogger <br />results; <br />Remove 99% of inlet ammonia or remqve continuously to below 1 ppm, <br />whichever is greater, based on an average of up to 10 individual samples; <br />For inlet dilution to threshold (OfT) concentration equal to or above 6,000 <br />OIT, 90% removal; for inlet OIT concentration below 6,000, exhaust dilution <br />to threshold to less than 600 OfT. <br /> <br />2. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />2.02 BIOFIL TER SYSTEM <br /> <br />A. The PROPONENT will: <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1. Supply all materials and equipment exposed to the airstream, condensate, or <br />leachate with protection from corrosion damage. Corrosion resistant <br />materials and equipment are required unless specifically permitted in this <br />section. <br />2. Provide all hardware, anchors, embedded anchors, and miscellaneous <br />metals that are grade 316 stainless steel. <br />3. Obtain approval from the CITY or CITY's representative for all <:oatings to be <br />used in the completed installation. <br />4. Provide a system that does not use carbon media in the process except as a <br />polishing step following biological treatment. Carbon media will be <br />warranted per paragraph 1.07. <br />5. Provide sampling ports (minimum opening %- diameter) for the inlet and <br />exhaust to measure airflows and airstream constituents. Ports will be easily <br />. acCessible by CITY's personnel and will be routed to ground level if a tower <br />vessel is used. <br />6. Provide sample ports on condensate and leachate drains to measure pH. <br />Ports will be easily accessible by CITY's personnel. <br />7. Heat trace, insulate, and aluminum jacket all exposed water lines. Valves <br />and appurtenances will also be insulated and heat traced. <br /> <br />11065-8 <br />
