Items such as cables, <br />transformers, motors, control centers, etc., will be newly manufactured for this project. <br />Proof of purchase documents will be provided upon request. Utilize products of a <br />single manufacturer for each item. <br /> <br />1.03 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> <br />A. Intent: <br />1. The intent of the Technical Specificaionts is to establish the types of systems and <br />functions, but not to set forth each item essential to the functioning of the system. <br />2. Install the work complete, including minor details necessary to perform the <br />function indicated. <br />3. In case of doubt as to work intended, or if amplification or clarification is needed, <br />request instructions from the CITY or CITY's representative. <br /> <br />B. Discrepancies: <br />1. Review pertinent specifications and shop drawings and adjust the work to <br />conditions shown. <br />2. Where discrepancies occur between shop drawings, specifications, and actual <br />field conditions, immediately notify the CITY or CITY'S representative for <br />interpretation. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Outlet and Equipment Locations: <br />1. PROPONENT will coordinate the actual locations of electrical outlets and <br />equipment with the CITY or CITY's representative. <br />2. Relocation of outlets before installation, up to 3 feet from the position indicated, <br />may be directed by CITY without additional cost. <br />3. Remove and relocate outlets placed in an unsuitable location, when so requested <br />by the CITY or CITY'S representative. <br /> <br />1.04 REGULATIONS AND PERMITS <br /> <br />A. Regulations: Work, materials and equipment must comply with the latest rules and <br />regulations of the following: <br />1. National Electrical Code (NEe). <br />2. National Electrical Safety Code (NESC). <br />3. Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA). <br />4. State and federal codes, ordinances and regulations. <br />5. Local Electrical Code. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Discrepancies: <br />1. The Specifications are intended to comply with listed codes, ordinances, <br />regulations and standards. <br />2. Where discrepancies occur, immediately notify the CITY or CITY'S representative <br />in writing and ask for an interpretation. <br />3. Should installed materials or workmanship fail to comply, the PROPONENT is <br />responsible for correcting the improper installation. <br />4. Additionally, where sizes, capacities, or etner such features are requir€d in excess <br />of minimum code or standards requirement, provide those specified or shown. <br /> <br />10010 - 2 <br />
