<br />" 'RFP 24-<lS7 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.07 <br />A. <br /> <br />587 -0702 <br /> <br />will make measurements to ascertain space requirements, including those for <br />connections, and will furnish and install such sizes and shapes of equipment that, in <br />the final inspection, will suit the true intent and meaning of the specifications. <br /> <br />G. <br /> <br />The PROPONENT will furnish and install all equipment, accessories, connections and <br />incidental items necessary to complete the work, ready for use and operation by the <br />CITY. <br /> <br />H. <br /> <br />When the CITY has reviewed equipment submittals and given instructions to proceed <br />with the installation of items of equipment that require arrangements or .connections <br />different from those shown on the drawings, it will be the responsibility of the <br />PROPONENT to install the equipment to operate properly and in accordance with the <br />intent of the Specifications, and PROPONENT will provide any additional equipment <br />and materials that may be required. The PROPONENT will be responsible for the <br />proper location of roughing-in and connections by other trades. All changes will be <br />made at no increase in the Contract Amount or additional.costs to other trades. <br /> <br />I. <br /> <br />The PROPONENT will support the installation of all equipment, plumb, rigid and true to <br />line. The PROPONENT will determine how equipment, fixtures, conduit, etc., are to be <br />installed, and will provide foundations, bolts, inserts, stands, hangers, brackets and <br />accessories for proper support whether or not shown on the drawings. <br /> <br />SHOP DRAWINGS AND PRODUCT DATA <br /> <br />Data Required: <br />1. Submit shop drawings, product data and aU other pertinent information. <br />Submittals are required on all products and items to be installed on this project. <br />2. Submittal data must show manufacturer's name, published ratings or capacity <br />data, detailed equipment drawing for fabricated items, panel diagrams, wiring <br />diagrams, instal-Iation instructions and other pertinent data. <br />3. Where literature is submitted covering a group or series of similar items, the <br />applicable items must be clearly indicated. <br /> <br />B. Terminal Connection Diagrams: <br />1. Submit terminal connection diagrams for approval prior to any wire installation. <br />2. Submit finalized terminal connection diagrams at the end of the Contract. <br /> <br />1.08 SYSTEM RESPONSIBILITY <br /> <br />A. The PROPONENT will be responsible for: <br />1. Complete systems in accordance with the intent of the contract and specifications. <br />2. Coordinating the details of facility equipment and construction for all SpeciftCation <br />Divisions which affect the work covered under this Section. <br />3. Furnishing and installing incidental items not actually shown or specified, but <br />which are required by good practice to provide complete functional systems. <br /> <br />Electrical plan drawings shown only general locations of equipment, devices, and <br />raceway, unless specifically dimensioned. The PROPONENT will be responsible for <br />the proper routing of raceway, subject to the approval of the CITY or CITY'S <br />representative. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />1Q010 - 4 <br />
