The Council agreed by consensus to change the caption, and Section 2.361 (d) and (e) before the second reading. Then the Council voted unanimously for approval of the Ordinance on first reading. Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration approval of an Ordinance on first reading, the caption which was read as follows: AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, AMENDING THE TRAFFIC REGISTER MAINTAINED UNDER SECTION 82.067 OF THE SAN MARCOS CITY CODE TO CHANGE THE 1000 BLOCK OF ADVANCE STREET FROM "NO PARKING ANYTIME" TO "NO PARKING ANYTIME - TOW AWAY" i INCLUDING PROCEDURAL PROVISIONSi AND PROVIDING FOR PENALTIES. Mr. Thomaides moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading and Mr. Guerrero seconded the motion, which passed unanimously. Mr. Thomaides moved for approval of the Ordinance on first reading, and Mr. Guerrero seconded the motion. Mr. Guerrero inquired whether this was the parking lot by the Post Office. Mr. O'Leary stated this is the parking lot across from the Post Office. He stated the City has contracted with the Post Office to use the parking lot in the evenings.
