Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration Item 35, removed from the consent agenda, adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN AMENDED CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY AND THE SAN MARCOS HISPANIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE FOR THE PROVISION OF TOURISM PROMOTIONAL SERVICES DURING THE CITY'S 2004-2005 FISCAL YEAR; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS CONTRACT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVEI DATE. Mr. Taylor moved for adoption of the Resolution with amendment for providing an audit no later than February 15, 2005, and Mr. Guerrero seconded the motion. Mayor Narvaiz introduced for consideration Item 37, removed from the consent agenda, adoption of a Resolution, the caption which was read as follows: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN MARCOS, TEXAS, APPROVING AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY AND TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY-SAN MARCOS FOR THE CITY'S PROVISION OF ADDITIONAL WORK ON THE SESSOM DRIVE/LOOP 82 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THIS AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY; DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
