During the period of construction, and during <br /> <br />the period of any maintenance of the pipeline that requires disturbance of the <br /> <br />surface and until surface vegetation has been restored, GBRA shall install and <br /> <br />maintain effective temporary methods and practices to prevent soil erosion and <br /> <br />degradation in the quality of surface water runoff, GBRA shall promptly remove <br /> <br />the temporary methods and practices, and restore the surface area, upon <br /> <br />completion of the construction or maintenance activity. <br /> <br />7, In the installation of the pipeline, GBRA agrees to bore under the existing drive <br /> <br />to Gary Park. <br />8. After construction of the said pipeline, and after any maintenance of the pipeline <br /> <br />that requires disturbance of the surface. GBRA shall restore the surface as <br /> <br />nearly as practicable to its original condition, so as not to affect normal <br /> <br />drainage. GBRA shall use the method of "double ditching" so that the surface <br /> <br />soil will be separated, retained, and replaced as the top layer of the soil. GBRA <br /> <br />shall reseed the surface soil and insure proper watering during dry weather until <br /> <br />the native grass has grown. <br /> <br />9. GBRA shall use the water pipeline solely for the purpose of transporting potable <br /> <br />water, and for no other purpose. <br /> <br />10. GBRA shall obtain the prior written approval of the GRANTOR for any <br /> <br />proposed change in the location of the treated water pipeline within the <br /> <br />permanent easement area described in Exhibit "A" after the initial installation of <br /> <br />the water pipeline is completed.
