(3) Street, industrial means a street which serves as the principal access to an industrial development. Large vehicles such as WB-SOs utilize these streets. thereby requiring greater area for circulation and movement. Driveway access is limited to accommodate higher traffic volumes and larger vehicles. On-street parking is generally limited or restricted on these streets. (1) Street, local or residential means a street used primarily for access to abutting residential property and circulation of traffic within residential neighborhoods. It is of a v/idth and design to discourage through traffic, thereby protecting the residential area. .^.. local street serves the same purpose in a commercial or industrial district. (1 ~) Street, marginal access means a street parallel and adjacent to an arterial street and which primarily provides vehicular access to abutting properties and protection from through traffic. (5) Street, major arterial means a street, including freeway service roads, whose main purpose is to serve as a maior route into, out of, or across an urban area. Typically. neither parking nor access to residential uses is permitted. (6) Street, minor arterial means a street whose main purpose is to serve as a minor route through and between centers in urban areas. Typically, neither parking nor access to residential uses is permitted. (7) Street, neighborhood collector means a street to serve between subdivisions or districts. These streets provide limited access to abutting properties. On-street parking is restricted on these streets. (~ 6) Street, private or service drive means a vehicular accessway under private ownership and maintenance that has not been dedicated to the city and accepted by the city. (9) Street. residential means a street used primarily for access to abutting residential property and circulation of traffic within residential neighborhoods. It is of a width and design to discourage through traffic. thereby protecting the residential area. A local street serves the same purpose in a commercial or industrial district. SECTION 4. Section 11O.043(b) of the City Code is amended as follows (underlining indicates added language and o';erstrike indicates deleted language): (b) The subdivision master plan shall be drawn at a scale of not less than one inch to 500 feet on a topographic map.
