<br />4.1.2 Direct Salary is defined as the cost of <br />salaries of Officers, engineers, draftsmen, stenographers, <br />surveymen, clerks, laborers, etc., for time directly <br />chargeable to the PROJECT. <br /> <br />4.1.3 Direct Non-Labor Expense is defined as all <br />expenses incurred by the CONSULTANT which are directly <br />chargeable to the PROJECT, which in general include <br />expenses for supplies, transportation, equipment, travel, <br />communications, subsistence and lodging away from home, <br />field office expenses, reproduction, and similar incidentals. <br /> <br />4.1.4 Overhead Expense is defined as all expenses <br />incident to the operation of Charles Willis G Associates, <br />Inc. other than those expenses directly chargeable to <br />specific projects. <br /> <br />4.2 PAYMENT FOR BASIC SERVICES, PHASES 1,2 AND 3. <br /> <br />4.2.1 Payment for services under Phase 1, Preliminary, <br />shall be for the cost of all services and supplies plus <br />a fixed fee of $2400.00. Total cost for work in Phase 1 <br />shall not exceed $2400.00 unless the CONSULTANT is authorized <br />In writing to exceed that amount. <br /> <br />4.2.2 Payment for services under Phase 2 and Phase 3 <br />shall be a total sum of $7200.00. The following allocation <br />of this charge shall apply: <br /> <br />Phase 2 - Design 85 Percent <br /> <br />Phase 3 - General Administration 15 Percent <br />of Construction <br /> <br />Total 100 Percent <br /> <br />4.2.3 Payment shall be made to the CONSULTANT <br />during Phase 1 and Phase 2 upon presentation of statements <br />for such services to the OWNER. In no case shall partial <br />payments be in excess of the value of the services completed <br />at the time a statement is rendered. <br /> <br />4.2.4 Payment for Phase 3 Services will be made to <br />the CONSULTANT on a monthly basis in direct proportion to <br />the contractor's earnings. The CONSULTN~T will submit <br />a statement each month for this payment. <br /> <br />-8- <br />
