<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />, , <br /> <br />and information. <br /> <br />1.2 <br /> <br />PHASE 1 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.2.1 Inventory major public works systems of the Project area using City records, other utility <br />records, topographic surveys, and Engineer's observation. Utilities and facilities to be studied <br />include, but are not limited to water, wastewater, streets, drainage, electric, gas, telephone, and <br />cable TV. <br /> <br />1.2.2 Analyze the major systems that are part of this project with regards to incorporation, <br />replacement, relocation, or modification of public works systems and environmental impact and <br />pollution control during construction. <br /> <br />1.2.3 Keep other major utility providers (electric, gas, telephone, cable TV, other) informed of <br />pro gress. <br /> <br />1.2.4 Present its recommendations to the City for review and input. <br /> <br />1.2.5 Prepare preliminary design documents for public works systems and pollution control <br />during construction. <br />(a) Water Plan <br />(b) Wastewater Plan and Profile <br />(c) Streets Plan and Profile <br />(d) Drainage Plan and Profile <br />(e) Pollution Control Conceptual Plan <br /> <br />1.2.6 Prepare and submit a report of recommendations to the City for review and comment. <br />The report will include the following: <br />(a) Preliminary design documents <br />(b) Estimate of probable construction cost to complete the proposed improvements <br />(c) Recommendation of construction phasing <br />(d) Documentation of Engineer's analysis of tree impact, wastewater, drainage, <br />streets (including reporting on pavement section, use of onsite recycled material, <br />and use ofmoisture/root barriers), and water quality issues <br />( e) Scope of Pinal Design services <br /> <br />1.2.7 Modify report to accommodate City comments and submit final report. <br /> <br />1.2.8 Meet with City staff on an as-needed basis (no less than monthly) during the Preliminary <br />Design Phase. <br /> <br />1.2.9 Participate in one neighborhood meeting regarding the Project to familiarize residents in <br />the Project area with general information related to construction of the Project, and the <br />anticipated schedule for construction activities. <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br />Byrn-Rio Vista Terrace Agreement <br />
