<br />1- <br /> <br />Consultant to monitor the progress and quality of the construction work. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.2.3 Monitor, review, and advise the City regarding the master schedule for Project and for <br />compliance with the Master Development Agreement. <br /> <br />1.2.4 Keep the City, City Council and other representatives informed of the Project's status <br />and communicate with end-users in order to keep scope aligned with Project objectives. Present <br />status reports to the City Councilor to the City Project Steering Committee, as required. <br /> <br />1.2.5 Attend and assist the City in all Project related meetings, as necessary. <br /> <br />1.2.6 Install the Broaddus & Associates Owner In-Site Web-based Project <br />Management System - an owner-oriented management information system that will provide any <br />authorized project participant the ability to track and manage the entire Project. <br /> <br />1.2.7 Assist the City in identifying and verifying the need for special studies, surveys, <br />investigations, etc., and coordinate the related contract activities with the City, as necessary. <br /> <br />1.2.8 Prepare projections for initial City related cash-flows based on overall City Project <br />budget, monitor costs, and review and certify all payment applications to the design-build firm or <br />other consultants as requested. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.2.9 Assist the City in periodic review of the conference center and hotel plans and <br />specifications. The Consultant will provide this service through Phase 3, Project <br />Implementation. <br /> <br />1.2.10 Represent the City's interest in all developer related activities including the planning, <br />design, and construction of the Project. <br /> <br />1.3 PHASE 2 - CONTRACTING, PROCUREMENT, AND SCOPE DEFINITION <br /> <br />The Consultant will: <br /> <br />Pre-Proiect Planning Phase/Conference Center Scope Definition: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Review the Project program and assist the City in developing design criteria. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Review and provide comments on the overall building facility space program document <br />to define building design criteria and scope of work. <br /> <br />Design-Build Procurement! Selection & Contracting for AlE and Construction Services: <br /> <br />1.3.3 Assist the City in developing the Design-Build Request for Qualifications ("RFQ") and <br />Request for Proposal ("RFP"). <br /> <br />I 1.3.4 Assist the City in preparing the City's draft design-build contract <br /> <br />3 <br /> <br />Broaddus OR Contract <br />
