Existinq Lonq Distance Services: The City is interested in reducing these costs by <br />utilizing both dedicated and switched environments; as well as eliminating the <br />requirement for the National Access Fees (Presubscribed Interexchange Carrier <br />Charge "Pice" Charges). The City generates an average of 18,700.8 minutes of <br />long distance per month. The current rate/calling plan cost structure is as follows: <br /> <br />a. Intrastate @ .045 cents per minute dedicated/ .11 cents per minute switched <br /> <br />b. Interstate @ .045 cents per minute dedicated/ .11 cents per minute switched <br /> <br />c. 800/888 @ .11 cents per minute <br /> <br />d. Canada @ 1.20 cents per minute <br /> <br />e. National Access Fees (PICC Charges) are 87 @ 4.31 dollars each for a total of <br />$374.97 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />3. Existinq Point-to-Point T1 Connectivity: The City is interested in reducing these <br />monthly costs. The point-to-point T1 circuits used in the City's data network are <br />detailed below with physical address and current monthly recurring costs: <br /> <br />a. 2300 IH-35 South (Police Department) to 110 E. MLK Drive (Hays County <br />Justice Center) current monthly cost: $266.93 <br /> <br />b. 632 E. Hopkins (Municipal Building) to 700 N. LBJ (WIC Building) current <br />monthly cost: $282.02 <br /> <br />c. 632 E. Hopkins (Municipal Building) to 120 W. Hopkins (Police Downtown <br />Patrol) current monthly cost: $432.92 <br /> <br />C. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: The schedule of events for the implementation of services <br />are detailed below. Portions of this schedule are preliminary and the final schedule of <br />events will be negotiated and agreed upon by the City and the successful proponent. The <br />successful proponent is responsible for complete and timely installation of services.
