PROPONENT RESPONSIBILITIES: Proponents are responsible for goods and <br />services involving the turnkey installation of any new or enhanced services that require <br />equipment and/or cable which includes, but is not be limited to, cable, connectors, jacks, <br />support devices, mounting brackets and boards, racks, proper grounding, interface <br />equipment, system equipment, peripheral equipment, station devices, training, etc. It is <br />essential that the installation be as transparent as possible to City staff and their <br />customers, with a minimum of telephone service interruptions, changes in temporary <br />dialing procedures and degradation of quality service. <br /> <br />The successful proponent's project management team will remain on site during the <br />cutover. A successful cutover is defined as 100% of all services purchased under this RFP <br />and resulting contract are operational at each site which proponent has been awarded. <br />Physical sites are listed in Section 3.B. A tentative schedule of events, which provides <br />tentative cutover dates, is detailed above in Section 3.C. <br /> <br />J. PROJECT MANAGER: Proponent will designate a project manager who will have full <br />authority to act in their behalf. The project manager will be the primary source of contact <br />by the City and CCG and will be deemed as the proponent's employee most responsible <br />for insuring accurate and effective implementation. <br /> <br />K. IMPLEMENTATION PLAN: The proposal, will include an implementation plan <br />explaining the steps preceding installation of new or enhanced services; including any <br />required equipment and/or cable. The plan will explain how it is designed to minimize <br />downtime, risk and inconvenience to the City. <br /> <br />Proponent will submit a proposed implementation schedule showing required tasks for all <br />major milestones of the installation. Such milestones will include, but not be limited to, <br />implementation conference, delivery dates, completion of cabling, operational dates, test <br />dates and final approval dates. Precise schedule will be coordinated during the <br />implementation conference. <br /> <br />L. ACCEPTANCE OF INSTAllATION: Acceptance of services will be contingent upon <br />overall compliance with the requirements of the RFP, as well as the neatness and quality of <br />installation and equipment rooms. Acceptance will not be given until all required cable and <br />equipment has been installed and marked appropriately at the D-MARC. <br /> <br />Acceptance period is defined as 10 business days from installation of services based on <br />the following criteria; that all new or enhanced services will perform at 100% availability, <br />without any failures, for a period of 10 business days. The City and CCG will perform a site <br />survey to ensure installation requirements, repair procedures and history file, and any other <br /> <br />. 7 . <br />
