<br />r-- <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />a. Equipment: The proponent is responsible for installing and maintaining all <br />miscellaneous equipment needed for long distance services. The proponent will <br />provide the City with the installation requirements; including power, space, etc. <br />for all equipment. All equipment will remain the property of the Proponent and <br />must be maintained for the duration of the contract. All installation costs for <br />equipment will be included 0 Proposal Response Form (Attachment "A"). <br /> <br />b. Cable <br /> <br />1. Exterior/lnterior Cable: The proponent is responsible for completing all <br />exterior and interior cabling requirements. All installation and material costs <br />will be included on Proposal Response Form (Attachment "A"). <br /> <br />2. Tie Cable: The proponent is responsible for completing any required tie <br />cabling. All installation and material costs will be included on Proposal <br />Response Form (Attachment "A"). <br /> <br />c. Lightning Protection: The proponent is responsible for all lightning protection <br />required by the services provided within this RFP. All equipment will remain the <br />property of the proponent and will be maintained for the duration of the contract. <br />All installation and material costs will be included on Proposal Response Form <br />(Attachment "A"). <br /> <br />3. Customer Service Requirements: Provide your customer service number for long <br />distance services and the local of your customer service operation. State your <br />hours and days of operation, by a "live" person. Describe what happens to callers <br />when the customer service number is not "manned"? <br /> <br />C. POINT -TO-POINT T1 SERVICES: There are three Point-to-Point TI circuits within the <br />City's data network that are included as part of this RFP. <br /> <br />1. Circuit Requirements: Three separate point-to-point T1 circuits are required <br />between each physical location listed below for data connectivity. The physical <br />address of each circuit are as follows: <br /> <br />a. 2300 IH-35 South (Police Department) to 110 E. MLK Drive (Hayes County <br />Justice Center) <br /> <br />b. 632 E. Hopkins (Municipal Building) to 700 N. LBJ (WIC Building) <br /> <br />c. 632 E. Hopkins (Municipal Building) to 120 W. Hopkins (Police Downtown <br />Patrol) <br /> <br />2. Installation Requirements: Point-to-Point T1 services are to be installed on a <br />mutually agreed upon evening (after business hours) during the lowest traffic period <br />at each site. All services terminating at the City's property will be clearly labeled at <br />the D-MARC. <br /> <br />-13- <br />
