I I 1.3.11 The Project Architect will provide assistance to the Owner Representative in the review of the Contractor's requests for change orders and pricing thereof. 1.3.12 The Project Architect will prepare necessary change orders in triplicate originals for approval by the City, through the Owner Representative, and execution in accordance with the Contract Documents, and will, with the Owner Representative's approval, have authority to prepare minor changes in the Work not involving an adjustment in the Contract Sum or an extension of the Contract Time, which are not inconsistent with the intent of the Contract Documents and which do not affect the validity of performance bond(s). In conjunction with each Change, the Project Architect will review the cost and time estimate and recommend to the City whether the proposal is appropriate. The Project Architect will prepare revised Contract Drawings, where appropriate, to illustrate and document the work required by the Change. Project Architect will not issue change orders not previously approved in writing by City, through the Owner Representative" and no course of conduct on the part of Project Architect, Contractor, City or Owner Representative will amend, waive or alter this provision. 1.3.13 All proposed changes to drawings, plans and specifications, regardless of how initiated, will be fully described in the document depicting them as to scope of work added, removed, or changed. The original copies of the Contract Documents may be revised to show such changes, provided that all such revisions will be separately recorded on media acceptable to City, including, without limitation, CADD. Such revisions will be clearly indicated and a current revision date will be included on the reproducible copy. Changes to the specifications will be made by consecutively numbered and dated revision addenda. All changes to design documents or specifications will be identified by date of change, revision number and other customary identification references. Areas changed on drawings will be "clouded" to show each change. Clouds designating previous changes will be removed so that only the most recent changes will be clouded. 1.3.14 The Project Architect will participate in concealed space inspections and systems start-up inspections as well as conduct professional inspections to determine the dates of substantial completion and final completion for the Project, to evaluate the work for acceptable conformance with the Contract Documents and in light of any subsequent tests performed as described herein to verify that any minor deviations from the Contract Documents as described herein have been corrected and that the reasons for any specific qualifications in any and all previous certificates for payment as described herein are either no longer valid or the condition(s) and/or problem(s) have been corrected. The Project Architect will issue final certificates for payment or take other appropriate action; and will make a written recommendation to the City regarding City's acceptance of the Project. 1.3.15 The Project Architect will receive and review written guarantees and warranties and related documents required by the Contract Documents and assembled by the Contractor for conformance with the Contract Documents. Prior to the end of the one year warranty period, review the completed Project with the City and the Contractor and prepare a list of all deficient items for correction by the Contractor.
