1.3.5 Review GSWW, Inc. flow monitoring data and perform analysis of inflow versus rainfall
imensity (Q vs I) for rain events.

1.3.6 Deliverables: Deliver flow data reports at approximately 2-week intervals depending on
rainfall events and downloading.

1.4 TASK 3 - DATA ACQUISITION AND REVIEW

The Engineer will:

1.4.1 Available Data. Available data will be provided by the City in accordance with Article 2.
1.4.2 Review lift station data furnished by City- capacity ratings, SCADA run time.

1.4.3 Determine extent of the collection system to model-pipes and lift stations (10" and larger
pipes, plus smaller pipes to connect modeled lift stations or otherwise hydraulically significant pipes;
estimated to be at least 700 pipes).

1.4.4. Cross-reference manhole numbers between existing City (B&V) model (300 pipes) and
Engineer's model (using GIS manhole ID's provided by City). Engineer will transfer existing model
elevations to manholes for Engineer's model.

1.4.5 Identify remaining manholes that need elevation data. and submit map (digital and hardcopy)
to City with manholes/pipes highlighted for construction plan set identification by City.

1.4.6 Review construction plans provided by City to obtain manhole elevations for the model.
1.4.7 Check pipe and lift station data for uncertainties, discrepancies, and omissions.

1.4.8 Review contour map overlay on collection system and provide list of questions to City and
coordinate for resolution of questions.

1.4.9 Determine number of manhole elevations missing which will be acquired by smweying
(surveying is not included under this Agreement).

1.4.10 Review lift station construction plans to determine additional data needed for flow
monitoring and modeling.

1.4.11 Review construction plans for San Marcos River siphon.

1.4.12 Review available data as basis for existing and future design flows. Data to be reviewed
includes: land use and zoning GIS, aerial photos, population projections, water master plan data
(APAI, 2003), and water billing data.

PBS&J.wpd 3
