<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />(d) Review the existing location of fire stations in <br />regard to existing and future land uses to be served, <br />topographical and man made barriers (railroads, highways, <br />street widths and conditions, traffic congestion, etc.), <br />and in the number and extent of runs, and after con- <br />sultation with the staff, determine deficiencies. <br /> <br />(e) Review the existing station locations in regard to <br />proximity and response times to multifamily and high <br />value districts, and after consultation with staff, <br />determine deficiencies. <br /> <br />(f) Develop alternative conceptual plans with approximate <br />locations and sizes based on 2, 3 and 4 fire stations, <br />and rate conceptual plans as to meeting criteria and <br />correcting existing and anticipated deficiencies determined <br />above. <br /> <br />(2 ) <br /> <br />(g) Review alternative conceptual plans with staff, and <br />after selection of alternative by staff, refine conceptual <br />plan. <br /> <br />Selection of Site Currently Budgeted for Development <br /> <br />(a) Select up to four potential areas for further evaluation <br />after consultation with appropriate City staff based on <br />City Wide Concept Plan developed in 2.a.(1) above. <br /> <br />(b) Evaluate up to four agreed upon areas in more detail <br />for appropriate sites within those areas. <br /> <br />(c) Review pertinent information on sites within those <br />areas with City staff. (City to furnish available data <br />from Tax Department.) <br /> <br />(d) Submit recommendation to the City on appropriate <br />sites within above areas studied. <br /> <br />(e) Areas and sites reviewed are to be evaluated using <br />the following criteria. <br /> <br />i. Access to primary and secondary fire service <br />areas based on agreed upon level of service deter- <br />mined in 2.a.(1) above. <br /> <br />ii. Land use - existing and proposed. <br /> <br />iii. Impact of new station on current and future <br />land use in site areas. <br /> <br />(f) Review acceptable sites within recommended areas at <br />a meeting with appropriate City staff. <br />
