<br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />c) Review and approve in writing monthly and final <br />estimates for payments to construction contractor <br />and in this respect check the contractor's weekly <br />payroll record for compliance with wage rate and <br />category provisions of the contract by comparing <br />payroll records with specification requirements <br />if required to do so by City. <br /> <br />d) Consult and advise City; issue all instructions <br />to the contractor requested by City; and prepare <br />routine change orders as required. <br /> <br />e) Hold periodic conferences with the City or its <br />representatives to the end that the project <br />developed shall have full benefit of the City's <br />experience and knowledge of existing needs and <br />facilities, and be consistent with its current <br />policies and standards. <br /> <br />f) Perform in company with City representatives <br />an inspection of the work as finally in place <br />and proposed to be completed by the construction <br />contractor for Conditional Approval and Final <br />Acceptance by the City and approve in writing <br />final payment to the contractors. <br /> <br />g) Attend neighborhood meetings held in connection <br />with Improvements when requested to do so by City. <br /> <br />h) Revise contract drawings to show the work as <br />actually constructed. Two sets of prints of <br />these revised drawings shall be furnished to <br />the City. <br /> <br />ARTICLE III <br />ADDITIONAL SERVICES <br /> <br />Additional serVlces of Engineers shall consist of: <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Revision of drawings and specifications after final plans <br />and specifications have been approved made at City's request <br />which involves extra services and expense to Engineer. <br /> <br />B. <br /> <br />Performance of field surveys and where necessary site topography <br />required to collect information needed in design of the <br />ptr'oject. <br /> <br />C. <br /> <br />Preparation of boundary surveys, plat and field notes for <br />right of way acquisition or easement acquisition. <br /> <br />D. <br /> <br />Provision of construction staking establishing construction <br />stations and reference points typically provided in similar <br />types of construction work. <br /> <br />E. <br /> <br />Any professional engineering service mutually agreed <br />upon by the parties which is not expressly provided for <br />in Article II. <br /> <br />ARTICLE IV <br />PERIOD OF SERVICE <br /> <br />A. <br /> <br />Upon written authorization from City, Engineer shall <br />proceed with the performance of the services called <br />for in the Preliminary Design Phase, and shall submit <br />preliminary design documents and an opinion of probable <br />Improvements Cost within 30 calendar days following the <br />authorization to proceed with that phase of services. <br /> <br />4 <br />
