<br />1.2.11 Coordinate permitting requirements with TxDOT and Union Pacific for the Eastside <br />Interceptor Phase 3 and Willow Creek Relief Sewer Line to determine the Project schedule <br />and cost impact. <br /> <br />1.2.12 Prepare a Preliminary Design Report (letter report) defining the proposed service <br />areas, their wastewater contributions, service periods, gravity line sizes based upon the <br />minimum and maximum flow rates for the service period, the preliminary wastewater plan, <br />an implementation schedule for the proposed wastewater improvements, preliminary plan <br />view drawings of the Eastside Interceptor and Willow Creek Relief Sewer Line alignments, <br />and estimates of probable construction cost. <br /> <br />1.2.13 Submit two copies of the draft Preliminary Design Report to the City for review and <br />comment. Meet with the City to discuss the report and obtain their comments. <br /> <br />1.2.14 Incorporate the City's comments into the report and submit four (4) final copies of <br />the report to the City. <br /> <br />1.3 PHASE 2 - FINAL DESIGN <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Attend a meeting with the City to confirm the design parameters for the Project. <br />Attend three (3) periodic progress meetings with the City. <br /> <br />1.3.2 Coordinate the integration of design, surveying, right of way issues, utility <br />engineering, permitting, and other services as previously approved. <br /> <br />1.3.3 Conduct site visits to resolve design issues and coordinate with subconsultants. <br /> <br />1.3.4 Survey the proposed alignment of the wastewater lines. Coordinate survey work. <br />Survey data will be tied to state plane coordinates. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Engage the services of a Geotechnical Engineer to perform soil borings and to <br />provide recommendations to guide the design and construction of the wastewater lines. <br />Coordinate with Geotechnical Engineer. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Conduct regularly scheduled progress meetings with the City Manager. Meetings <br />will be held at two week intervals and will be supplementary to other meetings defined in <br />these services. It is anticipated a total of seven meetings will be required. <br /> <br />1.3.7 Perform the final design for the wastewater lines, including the following: <br /> <br />a. Road crossing/repair details. <br />b. Interconnect details. <br />c. Prepare detailed plan and profile drawings for all proposed wastewater lines <br /> <br />3 <br />
