<br />issues, traffic control, utility Engineering, permitting, and other services as previously approved. <br /> <br />1.3 TASK 2 - ASSEMBLE, REVIEW AND EVALUATE EXISTING DATA <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.3.1 Review the schematic provided by the City including: <br />(a) Geometrics <br />(b) Drainage <br />(c) Bridge Design <br />(d) Environmental Issues <br /> <br />1.3.2 Assemble and review all TxDOT and City plans and studies for projects in the area <br />including: <br />(a) <br />(b) <br />(c) <br />(d) <br /> <br />Final construction plans and proposed construction; <br />Traffic studies; <br />Environmental Studies; and <br />Development plans <br /> <br />1.3.3 Review any City Master Plan details as to their effect on the proposed improvements <br />including: <br />(a) <br />(b) <br />(c) <br />(d) <br /> <br />Transportation Master Plan <br />Drainage Master Plan <br />Parks Plan <br />Future Land Use Plan <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1.3.4 Review existing field conditions, noting locations of improvements since last field <br />surveys. <br /> <br />1.3.5 Review schematic design criteria and complete a Design Summary Report ("DSR") for <br />review and approval by TxDOT District and Area Engineers. <br /> <br />1.3.6 Hold a Design Concept Conference ("DCC") with, but not limited to, TxDOT District <br />Engineer and Area Engineer to discuss findings.. <br /> <br />1.4 TASK 3 - PRELIMINARY DESIGN REPORT <br /> <br />The Engineer will: <br /> <br />1.4.1 Review the environmental assessment and its requirements and associated implications <br />for design and construction options and develop a preferred approach for minimizing impacts. <br />Prepare an Environmental Permits, Issues and Commitments ("EPIC") sheet, as required by <br />TxDOT, to identify environmental elements that must be addressed during design and <br />construction. Early coordination is part of this element and includes the Joint Evaluation Meeting I <br />("JEM") with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and separate meetings with other regulatory <br /> <br />4 <br />
