noise level requirements. The Contractor will ensure that all electrical equipment /components <br />utilized will be Underwriters Laboratory ( "UL ") approved electrical control equipment. The <br />Contractor will observe and adhere to the Texas and City code requirements and the FEMA <br />"Outdoor Public Alerting System Guide" 2006 will be used by the Contractor to establish siren <br />coverage patterns. The Contractor will, at all times ensure proper and ample siren coverage <br />throughout the City. <br />1. 1.2 Will ensure that the System allows for the accounting of information, reporting and other <br />functions as detailed in this Agreement and in both attachments to this Agreement. The <br />Contractor will ensure that all System components work together as intended to provide a <br />functioning System. <br />1.1.3 Ensure that before commencing any work under this Agreement, it has visited the site(s) <br />of the proposed work and has carefully examined the existing conditions and limitations thereof <br />and agrees that this Agreement includes all costs to be incurred through any limitations of the <br />existing conditions. The Contractor will meet with inspectors, suppliers and subcontractor(s), to <br />ensure that they are familiar with the entire project including all specifications, safety codes and <br />job site conditions. <br />1. 1.4 Adequately protect all existing structures, improvements, and utilities from damage that <br />may occur due to construction operations, at no additional expense to the City. Damage to <br />equipment /property due to carelessness will be charged to the Contractor. Damage will be <br />deducted from the amount due the Contractor upon acceptance of the System and final payment. <br />1. 1.5 Diligently observe all rules of safety, etc., applicable under OSHA and EPA regulations. <br />1. 1.6 Utilize properly functioning equipment capable of performing the tasks required herein. <br />All equipment will be capable of functioning in the environment in which it is installed. Outdoor <br />equipment will be capable of properly functioning in the following environmental conditions: <br />a) Dry bulb temperature range from 20 to 110 degrees Fahrenheit; and <br />b) Relative humidity range from 10 to 90 100 percent. it-- <br />1. 1.7 Provide workers who perform quality work and who are experienced and knowledgeable. <br />1.1.8 Due to the possible density of population in the System areas, proceed with the work in <br />an efficient and rapid manner so as to cause the least amount of inconvenience to the general <br />public. <br />Outdoor Siren Warning System Agreement 6 /2012 <br />3 <br />
