g) Perform a current conditions run to depict current travel patterns and transportation <br />system performance in the study area that reports current traffic volumes and transit <br />ridership, Vehicle Miles of Travel ( "VMT "), Level -Of- Service (LOS) and other <br />parameters; and <br />h) Identify areas experiencing capacity deficiencies under current conditions. <br />Travel Demand Forecast <br />1.2.2 Create future year highway networks and transit route systems based on committed <br />transportation improvements. <br />1.2.3 Perform a forecast run based on the current plans and proposals to depict anticipated <br />future travel patterns and transportation system performance in the study area that reports <br />anticipated future traffic volumes and transit ridership, total and per capita VMT, LOS for <br />selected roadways and other parameters as determined in collaboration with the City. <br />Analysis of Two Pre - determined Future Growth Scenarios <br />1.2.4 Using revised development patterns provided by the City staff, update the refined TAZ <br />attributes for demographics and employment to reflect up to two (2) alternative growth scenarios. <br />1.2.5 Code proposed transit corridor improvements into the TDM transportation network for <br />the City. <br />1.2.6 Perform up to two (2) TDM forecast year runs depicting the alternative growth scenarios <br />to examine the impacts of different land use patterns on the transportation system level of service <br />and other parameters. <br />1.2.7 Based on the results from the various forecast years TDM runs compare the scenarios <br />(current plans and the two alternative growth scenarios) and prepare summary comparisons of <br />the transportation outcomes of each of the scenarios based on a selected set of performance <br />measures developed in collaboration with City staff. <br />1.2.8 For Task 2, provide deliverables that will each consist of a map along with associated <br />measurables such as VMT and LOS in tables and charts in a modifiable digital format acceptable <br />to the City such as Excel. Raw data for the model runs will be submitted to the City as well in <br />TransCAD or ArcGIS.
